Aluminum balconies can be designed in a variety of ways and, thanks to their different contours and coatings, offer unlimited design options. Because of the high degree of prefabrication, reinforced concrete balcony platforms are an inexpensive option for new construction or retrofitting of buildings.
As an economical variant for new buildings or as additional usable space for old buildings, add-on balconies offer many decisive advantages. Both aluminum and reinforced concrete floor slabs can be used here.
This free-standing, retrospectively attached balcony construction is placed on four supports in front of the facade and securely anchored to the building using fastening elements. A controlled vertical load transfer via supports ensures only a few attachment points and thus avoids thermal bridges.
This variant from the Schüco modular system is particularly time and cost-saving thanks to its rapid assembly and the high degree of prefabrication in the valet.
If supports are undesirable, Schüco cantilever balconies offer a safe way of creating additional living space and thus decisive added value for the property thanks to a well thought-out and statically tested load transfer.

SCHÜCO ALUMINUM BALCONIES
Aluminum balconies can be designed in many different versions and, thanks to their different contours and coatings, offer unlimited possibilities in their design.
The floors of these balconies are aluminum constructions consisting of edge profiles. Depending on the balcony and structural requirements, the edge profiles are 170 mm, 185 mm or 200 mm high. Four edge profiles are connected with the Schüco corner connector technology to form stable balcony frames that support the floor profiles.
SCHÜCO REINFORCED CONCRETE BALCONIES
Because of the high degree of prefabrication, reinforced concrete balcony platforms are a cost-effective variant for new construction or retrofitting of buildings an.
In this solution, the floor slab consists of a complete reinforced concrete prefabricated part with special fastening devices. The base plates are supported either on four aluminum supports or on two supports plus the support brackets of the cast wall anchors. The concrete slabs are 170 mm thick and have an integrated drain. The railings are attached directly to the concrete slab and to the support.

The Schüco AR FG 300 balustrade system combines the elegance and visual appeal of an all-glass solution with simple fabrication and installation. It also provides maximum protection as a safety barrier.
The Schüco AR FG 300 can be installed on the floor, in front of the intermediate slab or recessed into the floor. The latest version in particular supports a minimalist design and ensures exceptional visual continuity and transparency.
For the other two options which have visible aluminium profiles, separate cover profiles provide a choice of different surface finish designs and colours for the inside and outside, so that the system can be fully integrated into the surroundings.
The innovative system for aligning and locking the glazing in place enables full installation from the inside, which guarantees a high degree of safety for the installer, as well as fast and easy installation.
